He couldn’t live anymore with the shame
That he was himself for to blame
For being utterly alone
And in the end he came
To the sad conclusion
It would never be the same
As once before
He decided it was time to go
And then walked his last mile
He waited for that final moment
To take that last jump into peace
But he just stood there foolishly
Alone, in a dead end street
So he went home again
And kissed his wife
He ate his dinner
