Father’s Day

Today is Father’s Day in Swampyland. I have a very loving family that has spoilt me by giving me a special present this year, a brand new Nikon D3100 camera and a VR lens to go with it. I am going to take thousands of photographs with it and I am going to aim that lens at them especially.

I am very blessed to have these people around me that love me and I can love them back. And I do not just love them for giving this lovely present to me, I love them just as much without gifts on Father’s Day. And we must not forget that we do not get it for granted by itself, we have to thank our Father in heaven for that. He is the one that gave us each other, made us grow together in love for Him and made us realise that we have to love on another here on earth.

So on this lovely Father’s Day in 2014 I cannot do anything else first than to say: Thank you Father.

“And giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.”

Colossians 1 verse 12 NIV
